Jesus gave Himself for our sins.
“Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God our Father.” (v3-4)
Let him be accursed!
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received let him be accursed.” (v8-9)
Called by His grace.
“But who it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace.” (v15)
Not justified by works.
“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” (v16)
Dead to the law.
“For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.” (v19)
Crucified with Christ.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (v20)
Under a curse.
“For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things written in the book of the law to do them.” (v10)
Just shall live by faith.
“But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.” (v11)
Redeemed from the curse!
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.” (v13)
All under sin.
“But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise of faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.” (v22)
I have put on Christ.
“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” (v26-27)
God sent us His Son.
“Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.” (v3-5)
Led of the Spirit.
“But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.” (v18)
Crucified the flesh.
“And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” (v24)
Bear one another’s burdens.
“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.” (v2-3)
Crucified to the world.
“But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. (v14)
