My memory verses from PHILIPPIANS

Chapter 1

Approve all things.
“That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.” (v10)

To live is Christ.
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (v21)

Chapter 2

Concern for the brethren.
“Look not every man on his won things, but every man also on the things of others.” (v4)

Jesus humbled Himself!
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name.” (v5-9)

Every knee shall bow.
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (v10-11)

God worketh.
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” (v13)

Chapter 3

“But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.” (v7)

Resurrection hope.
“If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.” (v11)

God’s calling.
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (v14)

Looking for the Saviour.
“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.” (v20)

Chapter 4

“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, rejoice.” (v4)

Prayer and thanksgiving.
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (v6)

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (v7)
